Need an Official Record?
Send each request to the office that owns the record:
- Court files and certified orders: Office of Circuit Court Clerk, Adair County Judicial Center, 201 Campbellsville Street, Suite 101, Columbia, KY 42728; 270-384-2626; weekdays 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Columbia police reports: ask for the records or open-records custodian through the official City of Columbia Police Department page
- Sheriff reports: use the current Adair County Sheriff listing and ask for the open-records custodian; the research did not verify a dedicated records address or direct phone
- Jail booking administration: contact the separately elected Adair County Jailer through the official county listing; use Kentucky VINE for current custody
- Kentucky criminal history: Kentucky State Police Records Division, 502-227-8700; name-based requests use the official form and current KSP mailing or walk-in instructions
- Expungement: obtain the AOC certification, then file the correct petition with the clerk where the charge began
For an Adair court record, call the clerk before travel if the case is old. Staff can explain whether the file remains in Suite 101 or has moved to a records facility, and can provide locator details for an accessible archived file.
